How holidays and weekends work
Configure weekend days, public holidays, and country settings in Wageso so planned entries and reminders fit your calendar.

Why calendar settings matter
Holidays and weekends help Wageso understand your payment calendar. This is useful when income, expenses, recurring entries, or reminders should be reviewed around non-working days.
Open Settings, then Holidays. The screen includes:
- Weekends.
- Enable holidays.
- Country.
Depending on your location, Wageso may suggest a country that matches your device context.
Set weekends
Weekend days are not the same everywhere. Use Weekends to choose the days that should count as weekends for your own calendar.
This matters most when you track payments that may move around non-working days, or when reminders should make sense against your local routine.
Enable holidays
Turn on Enable holidays if you want Wageso to consider public holidays. Then choose the country whose public holidays should apply.
If you do not need public holidays in finance tracking, keep this simple and use only weekend settings.
Open Holidays
Go to Settings, then Holidays.
Choose weekend days
Select the days that count as weekends for you.
Choose holiday country
Enable holidays and select the country if public holidays should affect your planning.
How this connects to recurring entries
Recurring income and expenses still need accurate repeat settings. Holidays and weekends are supporting calendar preferences that make planned payments and reminders easier to interpret.
For example, if a due date can fall on a weekend or public holiday, review the recurring entry and reminder behavior after setting Holidays.
What to review after changing it
After changing weekend or holiday settings, check recurring entries, reminders, and the selected month range. If something looks off, review the entry date, repeat rule, Month start day, and reminder settings together.
